Jason B. French, 70 died Sunday May 16 at the Smith Rest Home after an illness of five years
Mr. French was born in Pennsylvania, June 30, 1872 the son of Adolphus and Caroline French. He married Mrs. Winnie Sparks almost a half century ago. They lived in Ohio and moved to Fostoria where Mr. French farmed for 25 years. His wife died two years ago.
Surviving are two daughers, Mrs. Grace Goff, Jefferson, Ohio; Mrs. Pearl Chambers, Bay City and two sons, Earl of Flint and Ernest of Bay City.
Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Blackmore and Tubbs funeral chapel, Rev. E A Benedict, officiating, with burial in Watertown Cemetery.
