Lee was born Nov. 6, 1929 in Roosevelt. In 1941, the Taylor family moved to Vernal where he lived most of his life. While in the Navy he traveled to every ocean, escorting President Truman. He was honorably discharged in 1956.
Lee is survived by his sister, Mrs. George (Teddy) Lewis; nephew William Lewis; Bountiful niece Talene (Hans) Dinse; Fairfield, Calif., niece Dawn (Rod) Barker of Los Alamos, N.M.; and niece Raquel Busch of Bountiful.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 17, at 1 p.m. at the Vernal Cemetery.
