His oldest brother, Thomas Lee Casey was born 7 AUG 1898; making it unlikely Lonnie was born in March 1899. He does not appear on the 1900 Federal Census. On the 1910 Federal Census he was living with his grandmother, Nancy Riley Casey and his age was recorded as 9, birthdate about 1901. Lonnie's death record gives his birthdate as 26 Mar 1902, W. T. Casey (his father) was the informant.
