In the 1900 Census Martin lived in Township 1, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, USA with his wife Anna and children Ida A., William O., and Arthur C. He stated he was born in Tennessee.
Martin died March 29, 1901 in Roff, Oklahoma, USA and is buried in the East Hill Cemetery in Roff, Oklahoma, USA.
