The death of Mr. E. B. Haar at his home on South Fourth street, on Monday morning at 3:30 o'clock, was learned of by his many friends with deep sorrow. He had only been sick a few days, having contracted a cold about a week ago which developed into pneumonia. He was 42 years old and had been engaged in the mercantile business here all his life and at the time of his death was manager of the Peoples Supply Company.
Surviving the deceased is his mother, Mrs. Matilda J. Haar, his brother, G. Henry Haar, and one sister. Miss Lena Haar, all of whom will have the tender Sympathy of Many Friends.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the residence. Interment was in Oakdale cemetery.
