Edward B. Reynolds, who resided in Grafton, Ohio in Lorain County, enlisted in the 103rd Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Aug. 12, 1862, at Cleveland, Ohio. He received a $50 enlistment bonus call a bounty, from Cuyahoga County, on the same date. Promotions: from Sgt. to 1st Sgt., Company C, Jan. 13, 1863; to 2nd Lieut., Company H, Feb. 29, 1864; to 1st Lieut., Jan 5, 1865. Took command of Company G, Nov. 1, 1864 and was mustered out with Company G, June 12 , 1865 at Raleigh, NC.

He applied for an invalid pension, Feb. 1, 1899 which was approved and issued as Certificate #455984 i Ohio. Upon his death, his wife, Juliette F. Reynolds, applied for a widow's pension which was approved and issued as Certificate #392347 in Ohio.
