Adolph Jacob was the second child of Adolph Reichenau and Katherine Arhelger. He was born in Live Oak Creek Community, in Gillespie County, Texas. The book Kirchen-Buch of the Vereins-Kirch 1848-1870 said he was born on Nov. 18, 1850. His death certificate says born Nov. 14, 1850. Tombstone says Nov. 17, 1850. In the book Kirchen-Buch of the Vereins-Kirch 1848-1870 said on Dec. 30, 1850 was baptized and received the names; Adolph Jakob. He was married Dec. 22, 1880 in St Paul's Lutheran Church in Mason to Anna Katherine Schmidt. Anna was born Nov. 18, 1859 the oldest child of Frederick Johan Schmidt and Katharina Jacobina Simon. Anna and Adolph had 10 children: Edward Herman, Alvin Phillip, Ernest Albert, Oscar Max, Emma Emilie, Benno Conrad, Frieda Ellen, Meta Carolina, son still born, and Olga Lina Reichenau. Adolph died March 28, 1920 in Mason, Mason County, Texas .
