Obituary, The State (Columbia, SC) April 1, 2004: Jack Sullivan, Camden -Memorial services with Masonic Rites for Jack D. Sullivan, 72, will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 11:00 AM in Wateree Baptist Church. Rev. Everett Reconnu will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 2, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Sullivan residence, 1310 Norris Avenue. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kershaw County, 2001 W. DeKalb Street, Camden, SC 29020. Kornegay Funeral Home Camden Chapel is in charge. Mr. Sullivan died Tuesday, March 30, 2004. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Marion Felton and Angeline Warr Sullivan. He was retired from the DuPont Company after 25 years, a member of Wateree Baptist Church, a veteran of the US Navy, Army, and National Guard. Mr. Sullivan was also a member of the James Leroy Belk Post 17 of the American Legion and Kershaw Lodge #29. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Shirley Fennell Sullivan; daughters, Debra Boulware of Columbia and her husband, Rex, Tracie Johnson of Camden; grandchildren, Sgt. Brian Jolly, Amber Jolly, Specialist Rex Boulware, Jr., Ashley Johnson, Ryan Boulware, EJ Johnson, Alysia Knuckles, Erica Cavanagh; great-grandson, Logan Jolly; sister, Doris Baker of Camden. He was predeceased by brothers, Robert O'Neal Sullivan and Fred Sullivan.
