Note: the headstone has an incorrect year of death. Capt. Black died May 18, 1915. His obituary was published in the Tallahassee Democrat on May 28, 1915. Therefore, its likely the headstone was placed many years after his death (maybe by the SCV?) and may have contributed to an incorrect year of death being engraved.
