My great grandfather was born in New York State into a generations long farming lifestyle. Heading west he branched out to become a writer of patents & wills for the US government.
He also worked in the Chicago Board of Trade as a grain trader.
Opening his own grain and seed business he shipped throughout the country.
He married Sarah Magary In Mich. and later moved to Woodstock IL. They had 4 sons. They built a home in Norwood Park which is still lived in to this day.
