William Fosnow was born in Madison County, Indiana, November 13th, 1833, and died at his home in Akan, Wis, May 22, 1918, aged eighty-four years, eight months and nine days. He leaves to mourn his departure one brother, three sons and eight daughters, his wife having preceded him to the Great Beyond September 29, 1915. He also leaves to mourn grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of friends.
He united with the Christian church in early life and was a kind and loving father, always ready to help friends and neighbors in time of need.
Funeral services were held in the Harmony Christian Church and burial in the Felton Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Vern C. Kegley, pastor.
