Henry was born in Pennsylvania and is shown serving with Wilcox's Regiment of the Kentucky Militia from 17 Aug 1812 to 29 Dec 1812. He first obtained land in Clay twp (Decatur Co., IN) in 1826 and apparently lived on the same land until his death.
He & Martha had 13 children. In addition to those listed in Find A Grave, they were: John F. (1815-1873), Lucy Daily (1817-?), Arnold P. (1822-?), Ellenia Ockerman (1824- aft 1895), Thenia A. (1826-1850), Clarinda P. (1829-?), Clarinda A. Wolverton (1832-1856), Elizabeth E. (1834-?) & Henry jr (1835-?).
According to the History of Decatur County, Indiana (by Lewis Harding, 1915), Henry, a pensioner of the War of 1812, was buried on the home farm in Clay township.
