E. Edward Wolfe, 63, of Sterling, died Saturday, July 10, 1999 in Sterling.
Visitation and viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13 at Chaney- Walters Funeral Home. A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. also on July 13 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 14 at Chaney-Walters, with the Rev. Rick Lewis officiating. Military graveside services will be held by VFW Post No. 3541 at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Wolfe was born on Feb. 2, 1936 to Ueal and Evelyn (Hradecky) Wolfe in Proctor. On April 7, 1961 he married Carol Bunning in Sterling. He was a member of First Christian Church, the VFW Post No. 3541, and the Sterling B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 1336. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, trips to Arizona, and helping his friends and children. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Wolfe, of Sterling; three daughters, Lynette Eide and husband Ray Shaw of Mesa, Ariz., Annette Mitchell and husband Cameron of Ster ling, and Jeanette Hagerman and husband Dr. Rodney Hagerman of Groton, Conn.; a sister, Maryule Johnson and husband James of Laramie, Wyo; six brothers, Theodore Wolfe and wife Norma of Brush; Richard Wolfe and Patty Johnson, and Donald Wolf, all of Sterling; Robert Wolfe of Santa Fe, N.M., Gerald Wolfe and wife Judy of Broomfield, and Charles Wolfe and wife Linda of Thornton; five grand children, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cleota Wolfe; a brother, John Wolfe; and mother-in-law Vera Bun fling.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Bonfils Blood Bank.
