Inis G. Taylor, 81, of Jenny Lind, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 10, 2010. She was a beautician for twenty-one years, and mother of four boys. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jenny Lind, and was preceded in death by her Parents, Arch Alvin Smith and Burtie Mae (Mitchell) Smith, 3 brothers: Alfred "Red Smith, Elmer Smith and Therman "Dutch" Smith, 1 sister: Dorothy (Smith) Nichols Phillips and husband, George J. Taylor, and three sons, James Lee, Author Gene, and Daniel W. Taylor.

She is survived by one son, Virgil Taylor and wife Callie of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Zach Taylor of Parsons, Tennessee, John Paul Taylor of Greenwood, and Emily Kay Taylor of Greenwood; two great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Silas Paul, both of Tennessee; two sisters, Margaret Cook of Fort Smith, and Dean Kerr of Fort Smith, and three brothers, Al Smith of Greenwood, Jim Smith of Mansfield, and Marion Smith of Fayetteville.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 14 at the First Baptist Church in Jenny Lind, with burial at Union Ridge Cemetery at Dayton under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Roger Cook, Kenny Smith, Danny Smith, Carl Nichols, Troy Smith and Jeff Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Dake, Jim McClain, Harold Thames, Chris Remaley, Wendell Russell and Scotty Smith.
