Rudolph was the son of Fred and Wilhemina (Olchefske) Macigewske.
After the family came to the United States in approximately 1881, they lived on Ciccotte Street in Detroit. When Rudolph moved out and married his wife, Minnie, in 1903, they moved to 129 Gilbert Ave.
Rudolph was a foreman at Ford Motor Company and worked in factories his entire life. He and Minnie had four children: Elmer, Walter, Mabel, and Leona.
*Some of the family (including Rudolph, his parents, and children) started going by the last name Majeske or similar variations in later years.
