Albert Adkins was my great uncle. He was one of 11 children born to William & Elizabeth Adkins in Hopeville, Iowa. He was a dentist. Three of their sons died at a young age and are at the cemetery in Hopeville, Iowa. Most are located in different states although one of their daughters is also at the Maple Hill cemetery in Osceola, Iowa. My grandfather Owen Adkins is the brother of Albert. His final resting place is in California where I also live. Albert and his brother Owen attended Western Dental College in Kansas City, Missouri where they graduated together in the senior class of 1911.
Albert married Edna Glaze on October 1, 1902 in Osceola, Iowa.
