McClun St., Bloomington, died at 8:25 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 25, 2003) at ASTA Care Center, Bloomington A private family service will be today at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Doug Pavey officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. A private family visitation will be held. Memorials may be made to Fairway Knolls Church of the Nazarene, Bloomington She was born Aug. 18, 1911, in Nameoki, a daughter of James I. and Ethel Zimmerman Staley. She married Melvin C. Baer on Jan. 4, 1942, in University City, Mo. He died Feb. 5, 1975.
Survivors include four nieces, Delores (Jim) Price, Normal; Eileen (Lawrence) Lewis, Decatur; Judy (Dan) Lay, Shirley; and Marlene Johnson, Mt. Prospect.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
She was a member of Fairway Knolls Church of the Nazarene, Bloomington.
