George Anema Body shop owner, 83
George Anema of Denver, a retired auto body shop owner, died Aug. 16 in Denver. He was 82.
Services were Aug. 19 at Third Christian Reformed Church. Interment was in Hampden Memorial Gardens.
He was born April 20, 1915, in Grand Rapids, Mich. He attended Denver Christian schools and graduated from South High School in 1932. In 1940 he married Florence Lootens.
He was the owner of Anema's Auto Body until his retirement in 1996. He served on the board of University Hills Christian Nursing Home. He also organized fund-raising activities for the home.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Shirley Van Stedum, Susan Martell and Lorene Katt, all of Denver; and two sisters, Beatrice Roorda and Betty Harwood, both of Denver
