The following is the obituary of Oscar William Gustin. Oscar is the 9th child of Henry Milton Gustin. This obituary is taken from the funeral home obituary card dated October 16,1973.

OSCAR WILLIAM GUSTIN

Oscar W. (Gus) Gustin, 55, of 2007 31 Street Greeley, Colorado, died Saturday, October 13, 1973 northwest of Poudre Canyon, Colorado. He was the maintenance supervisor at Bonell retirement Community.
He was born August 18, 1918 in Adair County, Iowa and grew up in Guthrie Center, Iowa.] He was a veteran of World War Two.
On October 11, 1941 he married Elnor Greenlee at Marysville, Missouri. He worked in for the State Highway Department in Iowa from where came to Sterling, Colorado to work on construction. Later he moved to Greeley, Colorado. Mr. Gustin was a member of Evans VFW Post 6624.
Survivors include his wife, Elnor M. Gustin; two daughters, Miss Jeanette Gustin of Jefferson, Iowa, and Mrs. Rita Gesick of Evans, Colorado; one son, Richard Gustin of Greeley, Colorado; one brother, Delmer Gustin of Bagley, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Edith May James and Mrs. Anna Sheeder both of Guthrie Center, Iowa, and Mrs. Dirly Stennett of Atlantic, Iowa; and four grandchildren.

Oscar W. (Gus) Gustin, 55, died Saturday, Oct. 13, northwest of Poudre Canyon. He was the maintenance supervisor at Bonell Retirement Community.
He was reared at Guthrie Center, Iowa, where he was born Aug. 18, 1918. He was a veteran of World War II.
On Oct. 11, 1941 he married Elnor Greenlee at Marysville, Mo. He worked for the State Highway Department in Iowa from where he came to Sterling to work on construction. Later he moved to Greeley. Gustin was a member of Evans VFW Post 6624.
Survivors include his wife, Elnor M. Gustin; two daughters, Miss Jeanette Gustin of Jefferson, Iowa, and Mrs. Rita Gesick of Evans; a son, Richard Gustin of Greeley; a brother, Delmer Gustin of Bagley, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. May Janes of Guthrie Center, Iowa Mrs. Dirley Stinett. of Atlantic, Iowa, and Mrs. Anne Sheeder of Guthrie Center; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial
Gardens.
