Hester Emma Craig, the daughter of James Craig and Margaret Elizabeth Day, was born in 1869 in Grayson County, Kentucky. At the time of the 1880 Census of Short Creek, Grayson County, Kentucky the Margaret Day Craig family consisted of: Margaret, age 39 (Keeping House); and daughter Hester E., age 10 (At Home).
Hester Emma Craig was the first wife of Loren D. Fuller, the son of William Harrison Fuller and Mary Ruth Terry. She was the mother of Effie Craig, the wife of Nester Craig. Emma died on Decmeber 5, 1896 while giving birth to Infant Fuller, who also died on that date. She was buried as Emma Craig in the Fuller Cemetery in the woods north of Duff, Grayson County, Kentucky. Her husband, Loren D. Fuller, was buried there with her after his death on April 10, 1945 in Grayson County, Kentucky. His parents are also buried in this cemetery.
