Sister Mary Alfreda Piszczatowski (Helen Piszczatowski) was the oldest daughder from Anthony and Helen. She has two sisters: Eugenia and Anne. She entered the religious congregation, the Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception, on June 29, 1932.Sister Alfreda taught for a few years at Sacred Heart School in New Britain, Conn., and in parish schools in New Jersey and Massachusetts. She then studied at St. Vincent's Hospital School of X-Ray Technology in Worcester, Mass. Sister was assigned to Sancta Maria Hospital in 1951. She ministered at Sancta Maria until her retirement in 1989, the year the hospital converted from an acute-care to a long-term-care facility. Sister continued to serve at Sancta Maria as a volunteer until 2002. Due to failing health, Sister was admitted to Sancta Maria Nursing Facility as a resident.On June 3td, 2008 she served in the Lord in Cambridge.
