Robert H. "Bob" Davis, age 81, 200 N. Bellemont Road, Bloomington, IL died at 3:25 a.m. , Monday, June 26, 1995 at his residence.
There will be no service or visitation. He will be cremated. Metzler-Froelich Memorial home, Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
He was born November 17, 1913, Bloomington, IL the son of Mercer and Dorthy Phelps Davis. He married Ruth A. Haas, September 28, 1936, Chicago, IL. She survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Linda Block, Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Mr. Davis was a member of Ft. Lauderdale Yacht Club, the N.R.A., American Trap Shooting Association. He was a life time member of the McLean County Historical Society of which he was a benefactor.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army Aircorp as a flight instructor, in Arcadia, Florida.
