Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. G. Finney for Mrs. Kate Anne Gilstrap, who died at City hospital Friday morning, after a long illness. Burial was in Brashears cemetery near St. Paul.
Mrs. Gilstrap was born at St. Paul, Ark., Sept. 14, 1891, daughter of Henry and Julia Sweitzer, both now deceased. She is survived by her husband, J. F. Gilstrap, and one son, Jacob E. Gilstrap, and a sister, Mrs. J. W. Tweedy, all of Fayetteville. Miss Lorraine Tweedy, Paul, Gerald, and Norris Tweedy, and Miss Marguerite Gilstray [sic Gilstrap], are nieces and nephews living in Fayetteville. The family moved here from Fall River, Kans., a little over three years ago when Mr. Gilstrap took over the business of the Gilstrap Lumber company.
Mrs. S. J. Casteel of St. Paul, Mr. Gilstrap's sister, has been here for several weeks. Other relatives coming from out of town are his brothers and sisters in law, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Gilstrap and Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Gilstrap of Coffeyville, Kans. and his brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Anderson of Vian, Okla.
