Rhine B.Messner, 74, a retired carpenter, died this morning in his home on Lancaster Ave. He was a son of the late Tobias W. and Lydia (Becker) Messner and was a member of the Allegheny Reformed Church; Independent Order of America, Shillington, and the 20th Century Quakers. He was the last of his immediate family. Surviving is his widow, Alice (Hoffert) Messner. Services Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Kindt Memorial Home, Shillington, the Rev. W. Ronald Yocom officiating. Burial in Allegheny Cemetery.
