Robert B. Campbell, 68, Klamath Falls, died June 7, 1997, in Klamath Falls.
Mr. Campbell was born June 8, 1928 in Headly, Texas, to Jessie and Bell Campbell. He grew up in the same area and eventually became a minister.
In 1946, he entered the Army and was honorably discharged in 1948.
He moved to Klamath Falls almost 36 years ago and began working for an asphalt company, and later became a master mechanic in automotive repair. Mr. Campbell also worked as contract laborer for Burlington Northern Railroad.
Among his interests were hunting, fishing and camping. He was also a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his significant other, Shirley Kimball, Klamath Falls; daughters Ruth Vandenberg, Chowchilla, Calif., Robbie Lessel, Bakersfield, Calif., Paula Beeman, Central Point, Malinda Byrd, Washington, Jessie and Tammy Kimball, Klamath Falls, and Loretta Baggett, Hood River; sisters, Amanda Parks, Pampa, Texas, and Katherine Parks, Amarillo, Texas.
