COLLINS - Mrs. Lois Findley Lynn, 87, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah. The Tattnall County native, daughter of James Lester and Annie B. Findley, was a homemaker, a farmer and a nurse. She received an LPN degree while raising five children. She loved her church, Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church, and was a member over 60 years. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Earl Lynn; siblings, Marvin and Clifford Findley, Thelma Lynn, Evelyn Sikes and an infant brother. She is survived by a son, Barry (Rita) Lynn of Cobbtown; four daughters, Angela (Jerry) Alexander of Collins, Marsha (Frank) Watson of Lyons, Francine Lynn Draughn of Collins and Cynthia (Danny) Kelly of Conyers; sisters, Reba F. Smith of Cobbtown and Peggy F. Sikes of Bowden; loving caregivers, Holly Thigpen and Versia Sharpe; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5-8 PM at Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church near Collins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:00 AM at the church with burial in the church cemetery.
