Brenda was born in Wabash, Indiana to William E. Koughn and Jewell Koughn. She died at the age of 26 after a three-month bout with cancer.
She was survived by three sisters: Kimberly Thurston and Roberta Koughn, both of Wabash, and Denise Fuson of Highlands, California; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Koughn of Wabash and Hazel Napier of Wabash; nephews Tim and Junior, and family friends Peggy Floor and Krista Ogburn.
Services were held at Garrett and Sloane Colonial Mortuary with Pastors Walt Batman and Dann Perigo officiating.
