Of near Tipton, died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock. She was born in Lancaster Feb. 1, 1868, the daughter of Robert and Isabel (Airhart) Tate, and was the widow of Thomas A. Furst, who died in 1936. Surviving are one son, Elwood Cherry of Tipton, and one brother, George Tate of Altoona. She was a former resident of Altoona, moving to Huntingdon county and living there until a month ago when she returned to Blair county. Mrs. Furst was a member of the First Baptist church, Altoona, for many years. Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home.
