J. ARTHUR BRYSON
J. Arthur Bryson, 78, of 4111 Ingersoll Ave. died of a heart attack Wednesday at his home. He had been ill three years. Services will be at 10 a.m. at Westover Funeral Home, with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Born in Oskaloosa, Mr. Bryson lived in Des Moines since 1924. He was a retired auto dealership service department manager. A graduate of William Penn College in Oskaloosa, he was a member of Auburn Masonic Lodge, the Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Waveland Park Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marvel M., and a brother, M. Wayne of Prairie Village, Kan.
The family suggest memorial contribution to the Memory Room at First United Methodist Church.
