Bertie married Bessie Gertrude Boal on June 30,1907 in Perry Co. OH. The family group photo was taken about 1913. He secondly m. Anna "Annie" Aurand, who was a grandmother to his grandchildren because of Bessie dying young. The baby who Annie was holding in the photo might've been Bert's grandson Fred Poling.
