Mary is the daughter of William F. Kalpakoff and Mary A. Sussoev. She is one of nine known children: Peter, Mary, Alexander, Andrew, Joseph, John, Paula, Dorothy and Michael.
She married John Jacob Cheechov on 04 Dec 1932 in San Francisco, CA. They had two children: William and Victor. It should be mentioned here that John and Mary were on the 1930 census and already had their two sons. It is presumed that they married with a marriage license in 1932.
At the time of the 1930 census John was hardwood floor layer and Mary did laundry work. They lived at 1254 York in San Francisco, CA

DEATH NOTICE - Mary Cheechov
Mary V. Cheechov, 83, died Thursday in a Santa Rosa hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Russia, she moved to CA in 1906 and to Sonoma county in 1945. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, William Cheechov, Sacramento and Victor Cheechov, West Sacramento; a brother, John Kapakoff, Santa Rosa, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Daniels chapel of the Roses followed by burial at Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
Friends can call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
