She was a daughter to Charles and Flossie (Miller) Prichard. Her former husband, Jack Sawmiller, Sr., preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Jack Jr. (Jane), Celina; eleven daughters, Rhonda (Steve) Hufford, Lena (Lanny Roberts) Ames, Delilah (Tony) Toler, Betsy (Duane Meyer) Slaven, Dolly (Cory) Gonzalez and Holly (Brian) Kaylor, all St. Marys, Jeanette Morgan, Jackuline (Rick) Chaney, Cheryl (John) Opperman, Delora (Jim) Hall, and Melinda (James) Trigo-Studer, all Celina; a sister, Viola Sheets, Van Wert; fifty-one grandchildren and sixty-two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a granddaughter, Jeanelle Morgan; two sons-in-law, Jerry Morgan and Charles Slaven; five brothers, Ned, Homer, James, Max and Charles; five sisters, Olive Cashel, Sylvia Thatcher, Betty Prichard, Alice Imler and Princess Echeman.
She was a 1952 graduate of Van Wert High School. She was a homemaker and retired from the Auglaize Co. Council on Aging where she was a facilitator for the elderly. She had previously been working as a production employee for the St. Marys Cotton Mill and Hayes-Albion, Spencerville. First and foremost in her life was her family. It was important for her to visit with keep up with the goings-on of her grandchildren. Her pastimes included solving crossword puzzles, gardening, dancing, shopping and swimming.
Rites are at Miller Funeral Home & Cremation Service, St. Marys, with the Rev. Judy Ball, officiating.
