DUMAS - Gloria Rigdon, 67, died Saturday, June 19, 2010.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Morrison Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas.
Gloria was born July 17, 1942, in Littlefield to Ambrose John and Velma Louise Thomas. On May 16, 1958, she married Chester "Dwayne" Rigdon in Dumas. He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 2007. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with farming in her younger years. Gloria had been a resident of Dumas since 1950.
Survivors include a son, C.D. Rigdon and wife Gayla of Pampa; three daughters, Kelly Martinez of Hico, Amber Cain and husband Keith of Waxahachie, and Marlene Byrd and husband Rusty of Dumas; a sister, Neva Nell Parker and husband Bob of Dumas; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
