Frank Knippers was a farmer. His parents were David Sylvester Knippers and Caroline Strickland. His land was a gift from his mother upon his marriage to Fanny, his wife. He later bought more land to increase his farm. He and his wife had 19 children. They were David, Lillie, Huey, Benjamin Lee, Willie, Daisy, Mollie, Percy, Quinnie, Dixie, Denmon, Nellie, Houston, Orie, Lois, Lona, Reggie, Emma and Mary Frances. Frank lived his whole life in the Emerald community where he was born. He was the grandson of Thomas T. Knippers and Margaret (Peggy)Lamberth. His descendants hold a Knippers reunion in Tylertown, MS each July.
