Neama Marie Douglas, 93, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Allen County Hospital, Iola, Kansas.

She was born on June 2, 1917 in Rural Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of George and Nellie (Johnson) Ball.

She graduated from Neodesha High School in 1934.

Neama was united in marriage to Charles Douglas on September 2, 1934.

She was a Pastors wife.

She is survived by two sons; Stephen and Stanley Douglas, both of Iola, KS; five grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers; and one great-grandson.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 19, 2010 at the Parkview Holiness Church. Committal services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Independence, KS, with burial to follow.

Memorials in her name may be made to Independence Bible School and may be left with the funeral home.

Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
