John and Pauline Jagla were the parents of Frank, John, Edward, Lillie, Walter, Pauline, Anthony and Leonard.

The Detroit Free Press newspaper article (Saturday, March 19, 1927, page 5, "DOCTOR MUST FACE HOMICIDE CHARGE") - Dr. Bernard Foster was released on $1,000 bond Friday after he had been arraigned before Judge Edward Jefferies in Recorder's court on a charge of negligent homicide. A warrant was recommended by Joseph O. Castelluci, assistant prosecutor, after the physician's machine ran down and fatally injured John Yagley, 59 years old, 7038 Medbury avenue, at East Grand Boulevard and Concord avenue Thursday.Yagley died later in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
