Omer McCall, 52, died at 9:10 p.m. Thursday at the Woodford Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Powell County, he was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Belle Wagoner McCall one daughter, Mrs. Linda (Jerry) Metts, Frankfort, one son Omer Shane McCall at home, five sisters, Mrs. Bessie (Ben) Willoughby, Versailles. Mrs. Elva (James) Sinkhorn and Mrs. Ada (Robert) Kenley both of Stamping Ground, Mrs. Gertrude (Brad) Harmon, Lexington, Miss Ruby McCall, San Diego, CA, three brothers Howard McCall, Sadieville, Earl McCall, Midway, Ernest McCall, Stamping Ground.

Funeral services 2 p.m. today at Duell-Clark Funeral Chapel, Versailles, conducted by the Rev. James Hensley, burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Pete McCall, Frankie Farr Jr., Ray and B.J. Willoughy, Lonnie Brown and Lloyd Jones.
