Moyer.-C. Warren, son of the late David and Susan (Landis) Moyer ,was bo rn in Upper Gwynedd Twp., Montgomery Co., Pa., May 14, 1881; passed aw ay in the Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, Pa., Feb. 5, 1949, after a fi ve day illness; aged 67 y. 8 m. 21 d. Death was caused by pulmonary embolu s. He suffered a cerebral embolism which paralyzed his left side, but w as fully conscious until death. On Sept. 21, 1901, he was united in marria ge to Annie B. Kulp, who survives. Also surviving are 5 sons and 4 daughte rs (Viola K., Mrs. Walter Hunsberger, Granville, K., Warren K., Mrs. Elwo od Halteman, all of Souderton, Pa.; Ernest K. and Lester K, Quakertown, Pa .; Stanley K. and Pearl K, at home), one brother (Edwin L., Harleysvill e, Pa.), one sister (Mrs. Lizzie L. Nice, Souderton), 14 grandchildren, a nd 5 stepgrandchildren. One brother (William) and an infant son preceded h im in death. In young manhood he accepted Christ and was received into t he fellowship of the Towamencin congregation, Kulpsville, Pa. In Octobe r, 1917, he was ordained to the ministry of that church and was actively e ngaged in church work until death. He preached his last sermon in the Fran conia Church on the evening of Jan. 30. He had a deep appreciation for you ng people and was concerned for each member of his family. He owned and op erated a farm near Harleysville for thirty-five years. After moving to Sou derton twelve years ago he entered the employ of the Hatfield Packing C o. Funeral services were conducted at the Hunsicker Funeral Home by Arth ur Ruth and at the Towamencin Church by John E. Lapp, J. C. Clemens, Willi am Andres, and Jacob M. Moyer. Text: Jer. 17:7, 8.
