Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hinshaw Funeral Home for Mrs. Esther L. Bailey, 43, of Sheridan, RR 2 in the Boxley community. Mrs. Bailey passed away Saturday morning at Riverside Hospital.
Rev. Lee Mangold of the Tetersburg Christain Church officiated the rites, and burial was in Tetersburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Tipton County the daughter of Otis and Ruby (Cole) Bilby of Sheridan RR 2. She graduated from Sheridan High School in the class of 1946, and was married to Guy A. Bailey June 29, 1947.
Besides the husband and parents she is survived by four children, Mrs. Nancy Trimble of Windfall and Terry, Tim and Tony at home; one grandson and one brother, Joe Bilby, of Sheridan.
The deceased was a member of the Tetersburg Christain Church and of the Hamilton County Civil Defense.
