CORNING – Mrs. Julia Eleanor Henderson, 89, a lifelong resident of Paskenta, died yesterday in a Red Bluff convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Don Louis Henderson whose death occurred last year.
She was born in Paskenta and was a past president of the Elkins School PTA, and a member of the Paskenta Flournoy Community Church.
Surviving are a son, Clair R. Henderson, and two daughters, Dona Stewart and Rose Crooker, all of Paskenta; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday in the Paskenta-Flournoy Community Church with the Rev. Michael Cappiello officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in the Paskenta Cemetery under direction of Hall Brothers Mortuary in Corning. - Transcribed by E.
