Mrs. Andrew Melick
Somerville- Mrs. Carrie M. Melick, 77, of 214 W. Summit St. died yesterday (Feb 21, 1961) after a long illness. She was the widow of Andrew V.S. Melick, who died in 1930.
A retired real estate and insurance broker, Mrs. Melick had resided here for the past 40 years.
She is survived by one brother, Alvah Lamerson of Gladstone, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Melick was a member of the Century Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, and the Second Reformed Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Stuphen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Maurice Marcus, pastor of the Second Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be in the New Cemetery.
Members of the Order of the Eastern Star will hold services tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
