South Bethlehem, Sept. 7.
Mrs. Catharine Apgar, aged 94 years, 3 months, and 18 days, died yesterday at the residence of her son, Isaac Apgar, at No. 231 Fifth street. Mrs. Apgar was the oldest resident of the town and was enjoying fairly good health until a short time previous to her demise. The deceased was well known and highly respected. She was the mother of sixteen children, eleven of whom survive. The news of her death yesterday caused much sorrow to those who knew her. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 9. Services will be held at her son's residence, No. 231 Fifth street, by Rev. George E. Kleinhenn, of Fritz M. E. Church. After services, the funeral will form and proceed to the C. R. R. depot, where they will take the 12.11 train for Highbridge, N. J. Burial will be made at Lebanon, N. J.
