DIES SUNDAY AT
MERCY HOSPITAL
Everett Uetz, 76, 1523 South F street, died at 2:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the Mercy hospital of complications following several days illness. Born Aug. 23, 1885 in Tipton county, he was the son of Sam and Cymantha Warner Uetz.
He was first married to Ora Curry. She died in August of 1936. He married Lillian Murray May 27, 1941, who survives. He was a retired meat cutter.
Survivors include the widow, Lillian, four children, Mrs. Mary Seeger and Mr. Lois Kincaid of Elwood, Raymond Uetz, Wood River, Ill., and Edward Uetz of Akron, Ohio, a step son, Walter Murray of Tipton, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren and a half brother, Frank Warner of Elwood. The body is at the Copher and Fesler funeral home where friends may call any time. Funeral rites will be held at 2:30 o'clock at Cophers on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. R.W. Sage
pastor of the First Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be made in the Elwood City cemetery.
