Graveside service was held Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington, for William E. Pahlke, 91 of Crystal Lake, formerly of Barrington most of his life. He died July 17, 1986 in Veterans Administartion Medical Center, North Chicago.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Kasper of St. Paul United Church of Christ of Barrington officiated at the service, which was arranged through Stirlen-Pieper Funeral Home, barrington.
Born October 8, 1894, in Barrington, Mr. Pahlke was a retired machinist for an electric company.
He is survived by two sons, Newton (Ruth) of Crystal Lake, and Earl (Faye) of Fox River Grove; a daughter Mrs. Oscar (Mabel) Sanders of Palatine; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Anna Nordmeyer of Barrington.
His wife Florence Schwemm Pahlke, preceded him in death in 1972
