Kenneth Ray Abel, age 86, of Springfield, MO, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010, in Missouri Veterans Home. He was born October 16, 1923, in Fremont, Iowa, to Walter Ray and Hattie Alice (Sallee) Abel. He was an Army-Air-Corp Veteran of World War II. He was retired from the Paul Mueller Company. He and his wife had owned and operated C&R Enterprises for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Ruth. He is survived by three daughters, Kathie Christman and her husband David, Donna Lile, Connie Titus, Rodney Abel and his wife Natalia; 11 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
