J.T.L. Baker was born in Crawford County, Missouri 17 Sep 1860 and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alpha Miller, in Lincoln County, OK on the 9th of March, 1926, being 65 years, 5 months and 20 days old. He moved to Dixon with his parents when he was a small boy.....was married to Betty Davis in 1881 and twelve children were born to them, seven whom survive. Brother Baker was a faithful member of the Missionary Baptist Church......his funeral services were conducted in Carney, Ok, by the Reverend R.A. Bushing, pastor of the Chandler Baptist Church - interment was at Carney, OK." [from contributor, Traci]

Rans Baker was my great-great grandfather. He was not buried in the Seaton Cemetery, but was buried in Carney, Lincoln County, OK.(According to his obit). He was visiting his daughter and became ill and died. He was buried there, but his wife came back to...(Read more)
