Marilouise "Midge" Moore, 84, of Wenatchee passed away Thursday, September 7, 2006. She was born October 23, 1921, at Everett, WA.
In 1928, the family moved to Wenatchee and then later to Chelan in 1935, where she attended school and graduated from high school in 1940. She married Khleber Moore on January 2, 1942, at Chelan.
They first lived in Holden while her husband worked in the mines. Later they moved to Wenatchee in 1946.
During WWII, they lived in Olympia for a short time. Midge worked as a bank teller and later as a bookkeeper for Gwin White and Prince Fruit Brokerage in Wenatchee. She was a longtime member of the Wenatchee Valley Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael R. and Marilyn Moore of Gold Hill, OR; her daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Salvatore Spagnole of Wenatchee; two sisters-in-law, Enid Crook and Jean Moore of Wenatchee; three grandchildren, Cindy Knight of Seattle, David Moore of South East Asia, and Kyle Spagnole of Renton. Also four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Khleber in 1993.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2006, at 7:00 p.m. at the Wenatchee Valley Baptist Church.
Hours of Visitation will be Sunday, September 10, 2006, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
