Mrs. Boese, a longtime resident of south St. Louis County, was secretary-treasurer for about 10 years of Seco, a manufacturer of food service equipment. She worked at Southern Equipment Co., the parent company of SECO, for 47 years. She retired in 1978.
She was a past president of St. George Parish Sodality and a past president of St. John's Mercy Nursing School Mothers Club. She was an active member of the St. Louis Credit Women's Association and other church, civic and professional organizations.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church, 6820 Aliceton Avenue, Affton. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Among the survivors are her husband, Theodore J. "Mike" Boese of south St. Louis County; a daughter, Marilyn Dinges of San Mateo, Calif.; a son, John T. Boese of Reston, Va.; a sister, Aurelia Price of Sappington; two brothers, Eugene Enger and Andrew Enger, both of south St. Louis County; and six grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart School, 208 Columbus, New Haven, Conn., 06514, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
