"Hans Wolff Berlet, miller, arrived in this country seventeen years ago. His brothers, JOHANN CONRAD, papermaker, and PAUL, carpenter, have now arrived and
seek their brother. Johann Conrad is at Oley, with Mer. Womelsdorff"

1st marriage to Catharine Werth b. about 1718, d. 18 Nov 1780

2nd marriage, 10 Aug 1782 to Anna (Marsteller) may have been previously married

A lifelong carpenter and mason, Paul Barlet constructed several homes in and around Reading. He helped with the building of his son's home, Paul Barlet Jr, near Walnuttown. Several of his carpenters' tools are in the possession of descendants.
