Ella Mae Scarbrough Branton Teffeteller, age 79, of Maryville, passed away Sunday September 30, 2012, at UT Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Brownlow (Brownie) Branton, and George David Teffeteller; and infant son, Terry Lynn Branton; parents, Grover Cleveland and Hazel Garland Scarbrough; brother, Stanley William Scarbrough. She was a longtime employee of UT Hospital, and an avid animal lover. She was a member of Nelsons' Chapel Church of Christ, and a former member of East Side Church of Christ. Survivors include sons, James Michael (Mike) Branton, and James David (Jim) Teffeteller, both of Maryville; granddaughters, Jamie Michelle Branton of Oak Ridge, Misty Nichole Branton of Maryville; niece, Teresa Diane Smith of Soddy Daisy; nephews, Stanley Dewayne Scarbrough of Maryville, and David Anthony Scarbrough of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Edna Young Scarbrough of Soddy Daisy and her beloved dog, Bethel. funeral service will held be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Forest Hill Cemetery with Minister Steve Riley officiating.
